This sauce has easily become one of my favorite BBQ sauces. I wanted to create a sauce that goes perfectly with one of my rubs, and it worked out perfectly! My Coffee, No Coffee Dry Rub is one of my more unique recipes. This Coffee, No Coffee BBQ Sauce is the perfect sauce to pair with anything my Coffee, No Coffee Dry Rub is used for.

For those that don’t know about the dry rub I have mentioned above, it is my take on a coffee rub, using a coffee substitute. We don’t do coffee at our house, so it’s awesome to be able to use a substitute that still gets us that unique, and delicious flavor! The benefit of having a sauce that goes great with the rub, is that it ties the flavors together. The sauce adds in a sweetness that the rub doesn’t provide, without blocking out any of the awesome savory ingredients.

Another great part of this recipe, is that if you are a big coffee fan, you can use coffee instead of coffee substitute. This sauce is delicious, and goes great with just about any dry rub out there! Enjoy!
