Garlic and Herb Dry Rub
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp Basil
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. This rub is best used on chicken, pork, fish, and vegetables.

This is an instant classic. This is a super versatile dry rub. It goes great on chicken and vegetables. One of my favorite dinners, is grilled chicken thighs. I knew I needed to come up with a dry rub that would work well when I wasn’t in the mood for something sweet. This is what I came up with, and it is absolutely delicious.
If you are a big fan of garlic and herbs, this is the recipe for you. One of the best results I have had from this recipe, was to cook stewed vegetables under a full chicken in the smoker. The chicken and the vegetables were both seasoned with this rub, and the juices from the chicken dripping down into the potatoes and carrots created a beautiful combination of flavors.
Grab yourself some olive oil, and whip up a batch of this rub, and you will have yourself a delicious result. Enjoy!
