Carne Asada Rub and Marinade

The best carne asada rub and marinade flavor I could ever imagine! This stuff is great on beef, pork, chicken, and even fish!

Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Cilantro
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 Diced Jalapeno (Seeds Removed)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Pinch Salt and Pepper

Dry Rub

  • 2 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Chipotle Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions
 

Marinade Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients really well in a bowl.  Pour mixture into large resealable bag with whatever meat your are using.  Let marinate in fridge for 4 hours to overnight.  Remove from fridge.  Take meat from the marinade and pat dry.  Discard marinade in trash.

Dry Rub Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients for the rub in a bowl.  Apply the rub liberally to the meat.  Grill or pan fry the meat until it reaches your preferred doneness.  I prefer medium rare.  Slice it up, put it in a tortilla with your favorite taco ingredients, and enjoy!
