Coffee, No Coffee Dry Rub

A recipe for a unique dry rub calling for coffee or a coffee substitute
Prep Time 15 minutes
Course Main Course
Cuisine American

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Instant Coffee or Coffee Substitute I like to use Pero
  • 2 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients completely.  This is mainly a beef rub.  It doesn’t have too much sugar in it, so it will work for anything from steaks at a higher temperature to brisket or tri trip done low and slow.  Enjoy!
