Peach Jalapeno Ham Glaze

A great sweet, and spicy glaze for an amazing holiday ham!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bone In Butt Portion or Shank Portion Ham
  • 2 Tbsp Your Favorite Sweet BBQ Rub
  • 1 Cup Peach Jalapeno Jam
  • 3/4 Cup Apple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Season the ham with an even layer of your favorite sweet BBQ rub. Cook the ham on your smoker at 250 degrees F until it reaches an internal temperature of 115-120 degrees F.
  • As the ham is smoking, prepare the glaze. Mix together the jam, apple juice, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • When the ham reaches about 115-120 degrees F, use about half of the glaze, to glaze the ham on the smoker. Close the lid and let cook for about 20 minutes more.
  • Use the remaining glaze and glaze the ham again. Let the ham cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
