There might not really be that much BBQ sauce in Hawaii, but if there was a BBQ sauce to make me think of Hawaii, it would be this one. This sauce dives into all sorts of great flavors such as pineapple, soy sauce, and ginger. It’s an awesome mix between BBQ sauce and Teriyaki sauce.

One of my favorite fruits is pineapple, so it was no surprise that I would enjoy this one. The pineapple adds a beautiful acidity, and sweetness that is hard to resist. Add in the saltiness of the soy sauce, and you get the perfect sweet and savory combo. This sauce makes an awesome dipping sauce for chicken tenders, or even a nice teriyaki burger.

Make this sauce. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice chicken tender, and dream of being on the beach in Hawaii surrounded by an army of beautiful pineapples. Enjoy!
