Loaded Tater Tots With Pulled Pork
Loaded Tater Tots With Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- 1 Bag Frozen Tater Tots Yep, you heard me. Frozen is great.
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Cheese
- 1 Lb Pulled Pork
- Shredded Lettuce
- 1 Diced Tomato
- 2 Tbsp BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Pull out your air fryer. Yeah, you heard me. Air fried tater tots are the best. Put the tots in the air fryer and cook them at 375ish degrees until they are crispy on the outside. If you don't have an air fryer, you can use the oven.
- Place the cooked tater tots in a small oven safe skillet. Cast iron works best.
- Put the shredded cheese on top of the tater tots, and broil in the oven until the cheese is melted. This usually only takes about 5 minutes
- While the cheese is melting, warm up the leftover pulled pork. Add it to the top the tater tots and cheese.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and your favorite bbq sauce. Enjoy!
Loaded Tater Tots With Pulled Pork
This is a great recipe for a quick weeknight dinner. Maybe you’ve got kids running in and out of the house for basketball practice, chess club, or dance practice. There’s not a lot of time to cook. Lucky for you, frozen tater tots are easy to cook, and you’ve got leftover pulled pork in the fridge.
Spend the time you need getting the kids ready, or heck, even getting yourself ready. Fire up the trusty air fryer, and use those leftovers you normally wouldn’t know what to do with.
As far as sauce recommendations, you can always go with salsa, but my favorite is BBQ sauce. Any BBQ sauce works great here as well. I’ve had it with Kansas City style, mustard style, and even the simple stuff from the grocery store. It all works as long as you use what you love. Enjoy!
